PDF2Office for iWork is an application that converts PDFs to editable Pages, Keynote and Numbers files.

PDF2Office for iWork has been designed keeping a typical iWork user in mind. Converting a PDF file to the iWork format is just a 2-step process.

What we see here on the screen is the main PDF2Office for iWork window. You’ll notice immediately how streamlined the interface is. Towards the top we have the toolbar, which provides access to the 1-click conversion buttons. We then have the main area of the window that contains conversion related settings (which for the most part you can leave as is).

Lets see how easy it is to convert a PDF file to each of the iWork formats.

What we want to do is drag a file from the desktop onto the File/Folder to convert area of the PDF2Office window. You’ll notice here that the file is immediately added. We now click the “Convert to Pages” button. PDF2Office converts the file in a few seconds and the resulting file is automatically opened in Pages ready for editing. Lets compare the converted output with the original pdf file. You’ll notice that the layout has been extremely well preserved with paragraphs being formed and graphics all in place.

Now, lets convert another PDF file. This time lets convert PDF to Keynote format. Here again, we drag a file from the desktop and drop it onto the File/Folder to convert area of the PDF2Office for iWork window. Then we click the Convert to Keynote button. The file is converted immediately to the Keynote format again and its automatically opened in Keynote.

Now lets compare the converted output with the original. You’ll notice that all of the layout elements are in place, with proper text frames formed and even all graphics appearing intact.

Finally lets convert another PDF file to the Numbers format. Again, we drag a file from the desktop and drop it onto the File/Folder to convert area of the window. Then we click the Convert to Numbers button. When we try to convert a PDF file to the Numbers format, a little tip appears asking whether graphics should be included during the conversion; sometimes graphics elements interfere with the conversion so lets just exclude graphics items for now. The file is then converted to the Numbers format in a few seconds and is automatically opened in Numbers.

You’ll notice how all of the data elements are embedded in a proper spreadsheet fashion and everything is editable.

Using PDF2Office for iWork, its extremely easy to convert PDFs to editable Keynote, Numbers and Pages formats while retaining formatting accuracy and layout integrity.
