Recosoft ships ID2Office v1.5 – Convert InDesign® CS6 files to Word and PowerPoint formats.

Osaka, Japan, October 24, 2012 – Recosoft Corporation the developers of the PDF2Office® family of PDF conversion tools for the iPad, Mac and Windows; the pioneers of the de-facto PDF-to-InDesign conversion technology PDF2ID has started shipping ID2Office v1.5 for Mac and Windows.

ID2Office v1.5 now adds support for InDesign CS6 and has been enhanced to provide even more accurate InDesign-to-Word and InDesign-to-PowerPoint conversion.

ID2Office converts the text, associated fonts and styles, paragraph structure, corresponding property information, frames linking information, tables, graphics and other InDesign object and document properties to the matching Microsoft Word/PowerPoint object and file properties; converting every page into an equivalent page in the resulting Word/PowerPoint file. ID2Office eliminates the need of recreating the contents of an InDesign file in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint resulting in enhanced workflow automation.

    ID2Office has been enhanced to operate and function with InDesign CS6. InDesign CS5 and CS5.5 are supported as well.

  • Support for Text rotation property

    ID2Office now supports the rotated text properties when converting to Word and PowerPoint type (the rotation property is not available for the Windows version of Word).

  • Support for Shadow property

    ID2Office now supports the shadow text properties when converting to Word and PowerPoint type.

  • Enhanced Conversion fidelity

    The conversion fidelity of ID2Office has been enhanced improving the layout fidelity.
