Recosoft ships PDF2Office OCR – PDF-to-Office & iWork converters for iPad

Osaka, Japan, August 8, 2014 – Recosoft Corporation the developers of PDF2Office®, PDF converters for Apple iWork and Microsoft Office; creators of PDF2ID®, the PDF to Adobe InDesign conversion tool; and ID2Office, the InDesign-to-Word, PowerPoint and Keynote solution has released OCR versions of PDF2Office for the iPad.

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) versions of PDF2Office for iPad includes the capability for converting image based PDFs to editable Word, Excel, Pages and Numbers format. Additionally, the OCR versions of PDF2Office provide access to Dropbox and GoogleDrive facilitating document exchange between the iPad and popular cloud storage services. PDF2Office OCR versions also include support for WIFI transfer mode enhancing file transfer between the iPad and other computing devices.

PDF2Office converts PDFs into editable Office and iWork formats by recreating the intended construction and layout of the document; forming paragraphs; applying styles; regrouping independent graphic elements; extracting images; creating tables; all automatically without any manual intervention.
